2011 Christmas Parade Line Up

The 2011 Christmas Parade Line Up is posted below. If you do not see your group’s name on the list and you believe that you are supposed to be signed up to be in the parade, please call 601-336-0527 BEFORE 1:00 pm Saturday. If you show up at check-in and are not on the list and have not already contacted us, you will be charged a $50 late entry fee.

Line up begins at 1:00 on Green St. (between the Hatttiesburg Library and Oaklawn Cemetery).

The check-in table will be in front of Hawkins Elementary. You must send someone there to pick up your number.

2011 Parade Information:

The Hattiesburg Jaycees are proud to present the 2011 Hattiesburg Christmas Parade!!!

Date: Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

Start Time: 3:00pm

Line-up Time: 1:00pm

Theme: Christmas Memories

ENTRY FEES: Early Bird Special: $30 commercial entries (all entries except civic & church groups), $20 non-profits (civic & church groups) by November 18.

After November 18: $40 commercial entries (all entries except civic & church groups), $30 non-profits (civic & church groups).

Entry fees cover 2 vehicles. Each additional vehicle will be $10 for each.

PRIZES: There will be cash prizes for best entries: 1st place – $100, 2nd place – $50, 3rd place – $25.

Deadline for entry: November 28th, 2011. Absolutely no exceptions!

Blue shows the parade route.

Red denotes parade start and end points

Green denotes approximate location of line-up numbers. These locations may change depending on the length of the entries. For exact line-up locations, look for numbers written on duct tape stuck to the street curb.

To locate your line-up number, go to the Line-up Chart page.

To line up your entry, come in from San Antonio Street, St. Paul St., College Street, Forrest Street, or the far end of Green Street (not from Green & Hardy).

Yellow arrows show the directions to come in from to get to your line-up spots.

Do not attempt to come onto Green Street from Hardy Street, this will be one-way going the other direction! Also, Green St. will be very crowded, do not travel on this street unless that is your line-up location.

Please note that the parking lot by the old gym is reserved for the band buses and band members!

Labor of Love Blood Drive

The Labor of Love Blood Drive is held annually at United Blood Services in Hattiesburg every year on Labor Day Weekend. The Hattiesburg Jaycees and United Blood Services team up to bring the community together in hope of helping the growing need of blood donors in our area. Local restaurants donate food for the cause and blood donors receive a free T shirt.

Forrest County Junior Miss
