Hattiesburg Christmas Parade
The Jaycees have been the official sponsor of the Hattiesburg Christmas Parade for, well, no one really knows, but it's been a really long time.

Hattiesburg's Outstanding Young Citizens Awards

 Each year, this program honors Hattiesburg's most outstanding young citizen of the year. We also honor an Outstanding Young Police Officer, Outstanding Young Fire Fighter, Outstanding Young Teacher, and Outstanding Young City Employee.

This program is generally held the during Jaycee Week, which is the last week of January. Check back here for more information as the time gets closer.

Cookout for Cops

 The name is a little misleading, but it sounds cool.

The Hattiesburg Jaycees showed our appreciation for all the people who work in emergency services - law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS - by cooking lunch for them on the Fourth of July holiday.

The appreciation lunch was held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 4th, at the Jaycee building at 208 Hutchinson Ave. In addition to the personnel of those departments, their spouses and children were invited to come.

The menu featured hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, desserts, and several other dishes. On-duty personnel took food with them and also ate at the premises. Off-duty personnel also were invited and several participated.
